Stay at Home Gifts Guide

Staying home and not being able to see family and friends has been the hardest part of the pandemic for me. I’m so, so very glad we have been able to keep in touch via Zoom chats and phone calls, especially through all of the birthdays and life events that have taken place these last two months, but man do I miss bear-hugging my people! Sending out little packages of support and love has really helped me feel connected to those I care so much about. Here are a few of my favorite Stay at Home Gifts:

SOJOS Cat Eye Blue Light Blocking Glasses

When I say I’m obsessed with these right now, I mean I rarely take them off! I love these blue-light blocker glasses and think they are the PERFECT gift to send to any gal-pal who spends most of their time working on the computer or on the phone! I never knew how much strain I was putting on my eyes until I started wearing these. Now, I can’t work without them! It’s definitely a bonus that they are SO cute on! Also, have I mentioned that they are only $20.99 on Amazon? Total steal.

Grice Grove x Cheers for Good Stay at Home Boxes

Our non-profit teamed up with an incredible online boutique local to Atlanta called Grice Grove (owned by my amazing friend Kaitlynne Grice) to offer Stay at Home boxes! A portion of the proceeds from these boxes go back to our charity, which we then use to buy gift cards from local restaurants and to then be given to healthcare workers who are currently working overtime on the frontlines of this pandemic. Kait has created so many fun boxes in addition to the one shown above! For moms-to-be, brides-to-be and even family sets, she has something for everyone.

Pastry Shells Custom Cookies

My sweet friend (pun-intended) Shelly Nunnally owns Pastry Shells, a boutique custom-cookie company local to Atlanta. She makes the CUTEST cookies and recently made these adorable “Emergency Kit” packs, which made great gifts for family and friends! Visit her website to see all of the amazing designs she has for sale. She also makes custom sets and can ship them to you or for you! This would make a great, thoughtful (and tasty!) gift for family and friends with a sweet tooth!

Dreaming Wapiti Pillows

Send the gift of a good night’s sleep! I bought these pillows back in February and I am absolutely in love with them. Ryan is too! What’s awesome about them is they are filled with shredded memory foam and the pillowcase is machine-washable and made of bamboo. You can remove some of the memory foam to make the pillow most optimal based on the way you sleep (on your side vs. on your back vs. on your stomach). A pack of 2 Queen pillows is currently $49.99 on Amazon.

Grumpy Monkey by Suzanne Lang

I may be 27, but this is one of my favorite books, especially right now, haha! If you know any mommas with little ones, a teacher friend who is educating students virtually, or if you yourself need a little pick me up, I highly recommend this book. It’s a great story about how it’s okay to feel your feelings, sometimes things aren’t okay and you don’t know why and that’s okay. I love the fact that it validates feelings and let kids know that it’s okay to feel them and that they aren’t alone. $10.62 on Amazon!
